The Quarantine Experience

By

It's called the quarantine experience
Something I'm sure I'll never forget
How the entire world was change like a sunset
One moment I remember watching as we roam free
And suddenly we were all on lock down in a quarantine
This just can't be
Like a twilight scene on a movie screen
I watched as the entire planet and everyone's life
Was changing, rearranging
Life in chaos, crash and burn
A real lesson learn
Cabin fever slowly set in
I thought this battle we just can't win
A virus, Covid19 she was call
The Far East, she rise, like a beast and terminate
Without hate, she took away, life, freedom
And liberty, scarred our very happiness, so surreal
Something so unseen, the day I had to quarantine.
