The Question

The silhouette
I met in reverie
would pose a question,
a suggestion that left
me with an
impression of a lesson
I had yet to learn.

This contour
would evermore
haunt the shores
of my imagination,
a hallucination
followed by the echo
of her investigation.

"Who are you?"

I don't know.
