The Quiet Guy

Graphite to paper held together by the slam of a stapler
It's educational labor directed by a classroom administrator
Closing the mouths of these alligators because of their bad behavior
My only escape from this madness is through this loose-leaf paper

I learned to depict all the lies from the facts
Took everyone's philosophies and started my own from scratch
I feign fright and fear instead of having my true self appear
My mind is imploding with thoughts that are unclear

That bell rings; my mind sings my stress level drops
But then down these treacherous hallways I begin my walk
My heart stops and all of a sudden my shoulder pops
Another bump into a different jock, he's shocked

I continue on to another gateway to a different chamber
Brain filled with thoughts of venomous rage and anger
Will I express my thoughts that I'll eventually write out later
Or will I just remain quiet as a sleeping baby in a manger
