The rain in my heart

She greets me more often with those unhappy eyes,
less time spent together, unlike before, us no longer
holding hands during our many once nightly sneaky
escapes by the seashore, making fabulous love at the
start like eager newlyweds, our nowadays spent further
apart, I in deep mourning, confused, ever since her
phone having gone dead and me grieving towards her
sudden departure that came without a reason why,
my heart shipped wreck in defiance towards her cruel
abandonment.
