The Realist

the realist's heart is never broken,
but his soul is never free.
the only things real to him
are the things that he can see.
never believing in true love,
he never gives his heart a chance.
always a man that likes the chase,
he knows nothing of romance.

he knows all the words
but never what to say.
always stuck on facts,
he knows no other way.

oblivious to destiny,
a disbeliever of true love,
yet the realist is the man,
that the dreamer's dreaming of.
