The Reason For Your Smile

I could watch you smile all day long
And not once even bat an eye.
To watch you grin from ear to ear
Is enough to make me shy.
I've seen you sleep, I've seen you cry,
But your smile? That's a sight to see.
You're absolutely beautiful,
But your eyes are a mystery.
They hold back pain, they hold back tears.
They hide your deepest fears.
Your past was hard, I know it's true.
I've heard what you've been through.
But through it all, I'll be here.
I've been here for awhile.
In hopes, someday, I'll be the one,
The reason for your smile.
