The Regret

People are humbug, snakes in disguise;
Act loving you,while they merely despise.
Hiking up your distress with salt and spice;
Fake really well by pretending to be nice.
If you're better they'll beg for your advice ;
If you get low they won't even let you rise.
My heart breaks out with obnoxious cries;
For blindly trusting them not being wise.
Often do I strive with my bootless tries;
To be happy with those red moist eyes.
