The Rio

The water front reminds me of all the months
The restaurants seem so upper echelon
People pass on the romantic dash, and waiters too
But I respect the all black, under the bright lights
At least their making due
Money was something I wish I was making too
Or I should say more
Than we don't have to chill at your mom's house anymore
But the Rio was a new spot; a new sequence
A different side of my state I don't frequent
I just wish you weren't so shallow
Sometimes it's nice to swim the deep end
Believe we can go wherever we conceive, wherever is too free
I've never been too cheap
Good times with you feel like the Rio
Though minor to some, it represents you and the side that you're from
Shine lady; starlight is our light
Though your smile is as bright as I need; my angel indeed
Even when you're not doing deeds
With me, no need to roll up your sleeves
Just pretend we're at the Rio
