The Road

Quietly let me pass, quickly and silently please.
I fear if my heart hears you it will only try again to
tempt me.
I seek a light to help guide me.
Do i allow the things for which made you mine to come forth from
the dark and hide me?
I wonder if you could pay me no mind.
The company i keep is opposed to never ever and i continue to remember for life.
Quietly i hear you pass, quickly and silently my heart beats, sleeping, dreaming of the past.
Someday my heart will no longer hear you, my temptations will no longer haunt me and you
shall have peace at last
