The Roar of the Mute Crowd

Wooden floors hold our feet
As we endlessly dance into the night.
Dresses flourish.
Leather beats elderly wood.
Through our movements we can finally express
How little we actually can accomplish
Without each other.
Dancing under stars
Our silent observer
The roar of applause is nothing
Compared to leaving the crowd
Silent.
