The Sailor

Cast the sail far into sea
Take my heart to a place I can be
Where the wind is not cold
And your sense of adventure seems so bold
Through that scope
I see a bit of hope
But in the blink of an eye
All that's left is the sky
Blue and clear, not a bird in sight
They are gone with my feelings and have taken flight
But somewhere beyond that horizon is a land waiting
Whether it exists I'm still debating
When my ship finds a shore
My heart won't be lonley no more
