The Sandcastle Of Life

I used to fill a bucket with sand
and make a sandcastle that would stand
the truth is that I didn't see,
certain grains weren't meant for me
the waves pulled them toward the sea
some grains leave but it's okay
some stick with you and some will go away
we learn to find our perfect spot to build and grow
but the problem is it takes time to know
it falls, we fail
all that's left is our shovel and pail
but trial and error will get us through
just keep trying is all we gotta do
