The Scene

A couple of dimensions
got lost around the corner.
Too bad, everyone'd thought they
were on the verge of converging
or finding a happy medium, at least.
But the world will still turn, I guess
Hey expat come back I dare you
Find me a bat out of Heaven
I've never seen anything.
Here's the most spectacular
display of light and sound
it's been right here all along
Just never occurred to us to look
Until you find yourself
Howling drunk, clinging onto a shooting star
Shimmering lights like never before
The music runs the show
Are you a planet or a jellyfish?
Too gone to know or care
Water and sunlight will suffice
though kind words are proven to help
So let us dash through life's
favorite proverbial sprinklers
It won't be nearly as cold at the end.
