The Seasons of Life

The birds fly high and mighty,
the bees buzz by with smiles,
this Spring brings prosperity,
the flower blooms near the Nile

The birds and bees see the change,
the once pale flower is gold,
the flower thinks things are strange,
this Fall it seems to unfold

The Summer has come at last,
the flower begins to sneak,
the birds and bees had a blast,
this flower has reached its peak

The plain dreadful day had come,
this once red flower is brown,
the petals fall one by one,
the grown flower will shrink down,
the birds and bees wait for now;
their flower will come back soon
