The Second Star to the Right

You may have lost your shadow, but don't you dare try and take mine
Growing up's a contract, you lose your smile when you sign the line

You forfeited your happy thoughts and tried to make ours die
But we are not so easily fooled, we remember how to fly

For we are the children of Neverland, where your mind never grows old
Where boundaries don't exist and hearts never turn cold

With faith, trust, and pixie dust we can soar so much higher
Try to drown us out with your doubts, but you can't stop this fire

You can't cloud our minds anymore; you can't tell us what to do
For you don't seem to realize, we see so much more than you

We hope someday you will regain your childhood sight
Believe once more, and fly to the second star on the right
