The Shadow And The Flame

Her hair a flame enchanting my dark gaze
Curing my scars with love, lighting up my soul
My heart a cold winter, her heart ablaze
Melting the frost felt inside warming up like coal

She is a bright warm light captivating me
Her laughter is a comforting sweet bell
Filling people with happiness and glee
Her voice I love the most soft as caramel

I am darkness, bitter. A night's weary gloom
Deserve her I don't, I marvel at fate
She is day, magnanimous. Flower's bloom
A flame, a shadow. Many Different traits

Yet there is no light, without some darkness
No shadow without flame. Let's stay like this.
