The Sky’s Not The Limit

The sky’s the limit.
Well that’s what they say.
But that can’t be true.
Because there’s footprints on the moon.
And satellites roam the atmosphere,
taking pictures of the stars,
and the clouds.
How can the sky be the limit?
When there is said water on mars,
and other planets.
So don’t lie to me.
Don’t tell me I can’t get past the sky.
Because I know that’s not true.
Don’t tell me I can’t touch the stars.
And don’t tell me I’ll never make it to the moon.
Because the truth is the truth.
And the facts are there.
You know about them.
You’ve read about them.
So don’t tell me I won’t make it to places.
To places like New York or California.
Because the sky’s not the limit.
