The Society We Live in Today

Racial Injustice

A young black man,
Confused which way to go,
Does He march along with the people,
Or does he hide from the men in blue,
Does he stand up for racism,
Or suffer in silence,

You judge us by our skin,
You take away our Fathers,
You tell us to put our hands up,
You tell us to walk straight,
You tell us to stay quiet,
Yet we still end up dying,
Causing fear in our youth,
Causing pain in our community,
And still teaching all lives matter.
