The Song I Sing

Hear the solemn song i sing
As gentle as a wing
I’m six feet underground
Hearts begin to pound
Tears from our grief
To hope of some relief
Let me rest my head
In my eternal bed
Flowers flow in the wind
I’m sorry I couldn't win
Heaven awaits for me
Please just wait and see
I’m sorry to say goodbye
Please don’t cry
Just as gentle as a wing
Hear the solemn song i sing
