The Sorpion’s Move

Pandora's box was flexible,
With the lid that folded inside out,
Within a tactic that proved inexorable
Like the flight of the scorpion . . .

Ganymede was honorable,
While Pandora's lid was loose,
And his loyalty was inalienable
Like the plight of the scorpion . . .

Aurora changed the world
After its axis' shift,
And the shadows' lines wound unblurred,
Like the bite of the scorpion.

Jason's proviso was slurred
Before his destiny was in doubt,
Because he listened to a little bird
When he unleashed the night of the scorpion!

And the scorpion corralled the shrew
In the Muses' private garden
And concocted a secretly Pan-dered crew
In the twilight circuit of the biding starstricken warden.
