The Sorrow Within

Life is demanding
To the extent that
Death and life are identical twins
They dance with each other
With An ancient dance
That awakes someone's sorrow within
But for every soul
That sorrow arrives differently
And for me, i will never forget that touch of my sorrow within

Childhood was so peaceful
But my childhood was short lived
As I was shaken by my sorrow wishing
I remember screaming and fighting
Caskets and moans as
Everyone exposed their sorrow within
The man of the house, at the time
So tender and kind
Was consumed by his sorrow wishing

Years passed as I built
A sturdy metal cage
In hopes to block away my sorrow wishing
But alas like time before
Death did a tango with like
Enlarging my sorrow within
My sorrows has taken a piece of me Ill never see
As death has strikes three more times
And not even 18 I have been consumed by the sorrow in me.
