The Sound

Through every sound
I feel the water hitting the ground
I feel the water rising to my toes
Giving me comfort through sorrows and woes
As I gaze through the ocean North
I see the direction I set forth
It is not a moment of clarity
To see such a rarity
If you see heaven on earth
The ocean is more than it's worth
We are strangers divided by the sea
We both know the water is an example of divinity
It is not a question of why we are here
But the question is why is the water is so clear
