The Sower

By

The sower plants seeds in the ground to produce a crop
He lets seeds fall thru his hands and to the ground they drop

He covers the seeds in mother earth, and in the ground the seeds will grow
Extreme weather conditions are the seeds greatest foe

His people have been planting this ever since anyone knows
Their lives depend on what the sower grows

They must have faith that the seeds will grow, for uprooted they die
It takes time for the seed to turn into food under the blue sky

Faith and belief are needed for the process to give people the food to eat
The sower must keep the soil watered or face defeat

In time the seeds are transformed into produce if the conditions are right
When the people are feed their spirits are light
