The Sparrow

In a whirlpool of deception lives a heart;
A heart that was once beating but now in pieces
Shattered- like an unsolvable puzzle. Start
Ready, set, go things were going... it suddenly ceases

Lost and confused like a muse without an instructor. Pleases
Teases my heart with promises and dreams of tomorrow
The day begins bright filled with love and light eases
But when the day is over my heart is filled with sorrow

Can you mend a broken heart? when it is you that shot the arrow
Was this love a lie, should I even try
I feel like in your eyes I was measly a sparrow
After all this time I want to ask you why

But you disclose your thought and feelings in a barrow
So, Hunny who really is that measly sparrow?
