The Stars and I

Hope that one day I could fly to the clouds,
For we are restless and forever sleepless,
Our mother sky, to us whom she allowed,
Our friends together whispering secrets,
Giggling to all of our silly feelings,
Pondering in our full hearts, we promise
It gives you and me beautiful white wings,
The yellow brick road, that connects to us,
Sleeping with the night skies as our roof and walls,
Sleep, he comes in and whirls in our blank minds,
Mother Sky, she joins in our thoughts and waltz,
They dance and waltz to the singing pines,
Together on the sleepless night, they sing,
Tuck us in, the stars and I in our beds.
