The Stories Grandma used to Tell

Ah!, the holiday
I use to wait so long for you
I could sway
And gloat
To see you Grandma
As we drove down to the village
Oh!, Grandma how I really admire your peck
I could already here your stories
Your great and inspiring stories
Stories of life lessons
So beautifully-composed to steal the attention of youngsters like me
Oh Grandma, I never hoped to lose you
Ah!, Come and sit on my laps
You would say to me
Which I did for the last thirteen years
Then you'd start," Once upon a time"
Even when Grandpa gave up
You still hung on like a faithful beagle,
Like the prestigious a majestic eagle, After Papa told me that you had gone to a better place
I would sit by your favorite well
With your favorite pail
Till I hear the bell
But while I, do
I hope I would still remember the stories Grandma used to Tell.
