The Stormchaser

You don't work a 9 to 5
We are heading west on a 24-hour drive
To sit and watch the gusts of blackened winds
Swallow a glowing sunrise

I want to call in the action
Flip the switch and hold your hand
It brings me deep satisfaction
To follow your heart through the midwestern land

Why won't you chase me?
I gaze at the clouds reflecting in your eyes
As you watch the ruckus rip through the skies
And I think to myself, and I realize
I'd run faster than a twister in Kansas
Just for one kiss
