The Stream


Grade 2 | Age 7 | 10/08/13
Once there was a stream so big and wide,
It almost touched the sky.

The people got frightened and yelled
“Oh my, how can we cross by!”

Then one person got an idea,
“We can build a bridge”, she cried.

“I’ll get the wood, said one man”.

“We will get some nails”, said a family clan.

Very next day they got to work.

They hammered and painted.

Today, the bridge is broken but the stream is still flowing on in Japan…
