THE STRUGGLE OF MAN

The doom sleeps at night
Darkness was there
And storm mingles in flight
Daylight is never here
The doom falls at night
Heaven perfectly stares
The hell is at might
Thorns and poison cares
Your muscles never eight
When the heart weighs rare
Like the stars of Christ
Daylight will suddenly appear
Alone in the fight
And no one is near
The dove and the lion writes
Your struggle with spears
When doom falls at night
Gold and sand appears
Lo! its gold in fright
Dust has found your fear
Your muscles at slight
Still truth tickles the ear
Never to loose the fight
The doom still sleeps at night
And daylight is almost.
