The Sun and Moon’s Divorce

The sun and the moon two lonely beings
Met by chance at a rare sightseeing
A grand design that stupefied
But wasn't meant to be
The only thing they left behind was me

The star that never leaves
Who watches the sun set and the moon rise in misery
They feel so incomplete
Until time came and brought them more
Each a parter they both adore

But it all started with a flame
Of an unspoken love that was too big to tame
A star that watched it all
An infamous story told through the ages
Of the moon and the sun being put in separate cages
