The Sun’s New Birth

The stately trees tower over the ground.
All that they see to them be bound.
The clear, blue streams, the rolling, green hills
The sun that gleams and says, "Be still."
Down the sun goes, the moon takes over.
All creation knows that it will hover,
over the earth until the next day
the sun's new birth.
