The Surgeon

She needed heart surgery because her heart was broken. She needed brain surgery because her mind was a foggy mess.
Rehab was the hospital. Her surgery began. The therapist, psychiatrist, nutritionists, techs, cooks, and nurses assisted in the operation passing the tools.
Each played a part in repairing this broken heart. Each assisted in repairing the brain.
Her life would never be the same.
Just like a love story. Patient survives. Opens her eyes and she sees the surgeon. She falls in love with him.
What she didn't know was he loved her too and had all along. He is with her even to this day. He always will be, always was.
He guides her through life, gives her strength, comfort and joy. He is her provider and so much more.
Who is the surgeon?
