The Tardis

By Nell

Arriving here we were dumbfounded
Seeing these wondrous large beach houses
Full of anticipation my heart is
Then we arrived at the shack, the Tardis

‘Is this the shed?’ I heard mum say
Maybe we had come the wrong way
But no mistaking this was it
I could hear my dad think ‘oh sh!t’

Wait a minute, it may be small
But look, can you see the garden wall?
There’s the beach the other side!
So out I ran my bro at my side!

Along the craggy path we skipped
melting ice lollies withered and dripped
sticky hands and salty faces
this was my happiest of places
