The Tell

You'll never know my heart,
I fear
The longing lies deep,
but you'll not hear
The words on my lips,
you desire to touch
Want you to whisper words
I crave as much
More than desire,
it flows through my body
Your eyes tell the secret,
no deceit, but honesty
So my love
I keep deep down inside
my heart, its secrets,
locked away to hide
I feign indifference,
I close the shell
How much I love you,
this I cannot tell.
