The Time

Out of the mist of time emerge unseen,
As if to wean us from what binds us tight,
The signs of the events to take their flight
Deleting trite and hackneyed events unseen.
When they arrive and meet us on the scene,
If mocked by time we'll find us on a plight.
But, if it greets us then we will be bright;
The time, the master of our lives, unseen.
It intertwines the ups and downs we've seen.
A playwright then, in bringing it to light.
Much insight it allows us then to glean
With drama of our lives that is in plight.
When ripples of time appear on the screen,
That should not make us see it as a fright.
