The Tomb in It’s Shadow

cursed and wretched
Devine and precious
No one can break your spell
she'd find a sacrament within a grave
I'd find solitude in her passing
pleasure in her death
as she'd find it in my heartache
how could you?
leaving something so pure and so broken
stranded in nothing more than my own blood and sorrow
under a shattered moon I cry your name
as if there's a chance of you listening to my tragedy
I cry these tears of a love once spent
as you soak them up in your reverie
and let them burn into the atmosphere
for all the wicked ones to see
you show them that you truly broke me
unfortunate oh how so many have but never
dissevered my soul from my own person
now it feels as if I am my own prison
clinging to the bars, gray and silent
for a cure from your wretched disease
for I know you will never set me free
I have to find my own key
