The Torture Of The World

I lived my life in torture,
Each day a running race,
I kept my head up high,
While my heart was down during the chase,
I saw the light from the torcher,
Who held it up high,
High, way up, in the sky,
The sky above my head,
The sky above my heart,
The sky within the world,
The world which is the home,
The home of which we live,
Where we live we should protect,
The animals in danger,
The ecosystem off balance,
The world we should fix,
As the world we know may be gone in a flash.
