The Tribulations of Nature

a mountain that stands tall
a river that rushes abroad
a mountain that refuses to fall
a river that is but a facade

as water and rocks thrash
the river callously pays no heed
yet when on a mountain boulders crash
as a constant the formation succeeds

a rock may pose an issue
to each and every region
yet those that are able to continue
separate from those who weaken

for when gravel falls onto a mountain
the mountain is not outweighed
but when a pebble falls into a river
the water panics and whisks it away

both all mountains and every river
are faced with troubles, as are we
but as the issues grow even bigger
will you stay strong or shall you flee?
