The Truth About Love

People say unrequited love is the worst love in the world
Oh how I strongly disagree
Because I loved my dear beloved
And he loved me

But when love is met with reason
It may disappear
Familiarity breeds contempt
And fatal flaws will appear

And the things they loved at first
They will hate
And the words of unconditional love they spoke
Will no longer be true

Oh how silly of me to think
It would be me and you
