The Truth No One Sees

You suffer in silence gasping for air
But no relief comes
You scream out for help
But only silent shrikes escape from your lungs
You can see through the ripples of water
People breathing through their smiles
Don't they know your slowly dieing?
Not long ago you were swimming by the shore
But now your far from the surface
As your hope for salvation drains from your mind
You let go as your last wave crashes on the shore
