The Turning Seasons of the Year

As the leaves fall off the trees
it signifies the forever deeds of the
turning seasons of the year.

And like the seasons so is life,
with all its misery, pain and strife,
forever on its journey of returning
to its misery, pain and strife.

And yet the wind blows, and the sun
rise, and there is rain shattering
life's eternal window panes.

Within the shadows of the dark,
beneath the running of the stream,
there lurks a creeping, flying, dying
figure; glowing, glowing, glowing,
forever; like the turning seasons of
the year-

with all its misery, pain and
strife; forever on its journey, of
returning, to its long, eternal life.
