The Uncertainties

Lying in an ocean of misery,
The waves pull my body to the West
But my soul still plays in the East.

The heart of this ship quivers
Like an animal coated in icy blood
And I begin to think of the day I once loved.

The sun glittered like big diamond rings.
I swam in coral ponds floating
Above madness.

Drowning my insecurities and doubts,
Time was the mouth speaking without a sound
And it approached me like death.

I became a body with a lost soul
Roaming the Pacific

But always longing to find myself
In the Atlantic.
