The Unknown

We trekked into an unknown valley
This world and I
Our cryptic utterances never spoken
Under our shields uniting
Invisible wars crashing our parties of one
Like pain splattering our stained glass castles
Together we understood
In a world so unevenly built
Even the preeminent are wounded
And yet we always prevail
By lack of gravel and bridges
All the people came singing and painting
Filling vastness of creativity
Doctors and nurses aiding the ill
Words failed and minds spoke
To heal the wicked invisible ghost
Floating on every coast
In our rooms creating
sparkling spotless skies
And crowded crevices
Fighting for this world and I
