The Unveiling

Her silk dress slides off her body so sleek
Clinging to soft curves, then draping her feet
Her hair fall soft over shoulders now bare
Her eyes they smile, sensing you're there

A vision that only dreams seem to know
A canvass revealed in light's faded glow
Soft skin the backdrop of unfilled desire
The candle once lit a passion fed fire

Slowly she comes and hovers above
Her presence a shadow that covers with love
Hands feel for a face she once knew well
In her eyes a story she once used to tell

Pearls sway from her neck, like lights in a storm
Her body draws close, tender and warm
The pearls hypnotic, a love spell they cast
Freezing the moment in frames from the past
