The Void

The wicked eye disguised by the smile
The feelings floating a hundred miles
Above words, above everyone
Here, in the void, locked away

There's a world of water, air and fire
There are people of shame, joy and fire
There's me, not there
Stuck in the void

Words are the doors to their souls
And their souls fly at me on my whole
But my body is unfeeling, my soul is lost
Up above, in the void

The daggers may pierce my skin
And worms tear away within
But I don't feel, I'm far down below
Hollow and soul, in the void

My skin crawls, I itch for the feel of life
To be attacked by souls of people of fire
My hand is untouched and I fall back,
So far, so long, so hard,
So cold is the void
