The Vulnerable Kind
Leaving behind a milky trail of lonely lies
Sadness fills up the emptiness
That sometimes gets left behind
Covered in silk so soft
It can't be felt by lucid touch
Needlessly engorging itself
On the subtle hints of moving on
Defiantly protecting the scars
Burned into the mind
Tricking you into assuming
Something is left
Of the vulnerable kind
