The Wars Inside Us

Sometimes scars can speak volumes
Of what the tongue fails to utter
And memory will feel a burden
When the past is to be forgotten
The pain creeps in,wrecking you
Wreaking havoc and waging wars
Questioning every thing about you
And you may find it impossible,
To hold on,to survive , to fight
But nevertheless,you do so
Clinging tight to that ounce of hope
That someday, everything will be fine
But deep down you know it's all a lie
It's a never ending labyrinth
The pain builds up, it's numb and cold
Depression creeping in through forgotten doors,
Piling up thoughts too hard to count
It all becomes messy after some time
And you shut your eye,
Hopeful for the last breath
For this ugly evil place to do you one last favour,
And just end you in one swipe, than tear you up
You just wish for a sudden death than this painful one
