The Water Within
It runs down the sides of grey buildings,
Putting life into a lifeless one.
It splashes hard on an upset man,
Screaming at him to take cover.
It glides down passing the gleamed,
Ruining the preceded sunny day.
It shoots down, along with clouds and thunder;
Just to show off its strength.
One little inch of stream,
To show life can be given and can be taken.
It's big drops embody two lovers,
Breaking and making their moment.
One would say it can burn your body,
One would say it could take your breath.
Yet it still gently trickles down the sides of broken faces,
Showing the punishing world it's okay to cry.
