The Way in Is the Way Out


Left you standing there staring back at me with a look I can't put
my finger on the place we began and smiled and I knew that you
were so distant far and pissed because I said things that made you
melt and tremble at the idea of us together, of us forever, and you
might laugh at that now the way you wave your hand and shake your
head in your hands waiting for the next moment we can kiss and burn
inside your head it hurts to think we lost respect, and more our will
to survive is just us, and we love stronger than we were prepared for
the end of everything is just a myth like love without hate, and now
I put my finger on the button that will destroy everything
we never meant to be
