The Weed Who Terrorized

I heard the screeches of evil echo in the vast garden
How peculiar but simple was that weed who terrorized
Sinful green blades profoundly extend and daunt
Shriveled and limp, the weed slumps way into the darkness
Dark arms gnarled from devouring its prey
The mangled invader concealed itself under brush
Neglected it stood, waiting patiently for its next vulnerable victim
Thriving off the desolate night the weed felt dominant
Desire amplified as it prepare to pounce
A dainty flower stood unaware of the predator
Slowly the villain lurked towards the unsuspecting flower
That beauty was strangled and suffocated
With its final breath the flower fell limp and brown
Again the beastly miscreant stole a ravishing soul from the earth
How corrupt and grotesque that weed looked
Bilking ones of life's only treasures
I heard the screeches of evil echo in the vast garden
